Beginning in 1957, Vigilantes member W.Bro Havard presented a pair of white gloves to the Candidate on his Initiation using a piece of ritual he had composed himself.

This was the start of the Gloves Ceremony ritual performed only in the Vigilantes Lodge, and is still performed to this day.

Seeing the unique rituals and differences between Lodges is one of the wonderful aspects of visiting other Lodges.
