What's in a name?

"VIGILANTES" means 'Ever Watchful'
(we're not caped-crusaders; sorry to disappoint!)

The name is actually derived from the Heraldic Crest of Cleethorpes, and traces its meaning to our local fishing heritage.

You can also see this link in our Lodge's Logo - featuring the same decorated Shield and Vulning Pelican.
