Our Lodge has a rich and fascinating heritage,
having met continuously since 1952

Having recently celebrated our Tercentenary, our Fraternity is one of the oldest in the world

What's in a name?

"VIGILANTES" means 'Ever Watchful'
(we're not caped-crusaders; sorry to disappoint!)

The name is actually derived from the Heraldic Crest of Cleethorpes, and traces its meaning to our local fishing heritage.
